چکیده
Globally, land alkalinization affecting agricultural development. Considering the increasingly serious effects of alkaline stress on agriculture and environment, phytoremediation may be an efficient way to addressed alkalinization. Broomcorn millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) is a saline-alkaline-tolerant crop bioenergy crop. However, molecular mechanism response broomcorn remains large gap. To explore mitigation 24-epicastasterone (BR), CK (nutrient solution only), CB + 0.5 mg L−1 BR), AS (alkaline stress), AB BR) TA289 (alkaline-tolerant) SA223 (alkaline-sensitive) were investigated. Alkaline enhanced reactive oxygen species membrane lipid peroxidation. BR boosted antioxidant enzyme activities reduce oxidative stress. Simultaneously, attenuated Na+ toxicity maintained ion homeostasis. Additionally, significantly physiological structure photosynthetic properties. Transcriptomic metabolomic analyses applied further evaluate effect defense. The results showed that reduced transcriptional responses photosynthesis defense promoted accumulation effective metabolites such as biliverdin, l-glutamate, phosphoric acid. Taken together, application can alleviate damage by altering expression metabolite simple strategy This study reveals enhance capacity under stress, which provides theoretical support for cultivation crops lands breeding alkaline-tolerant varieties.

Comparative physiological, metabolomic, and transcriptomic analyses reveal mechanisms of improved abiotic stress resistance in bermudagrass [Cynodon dactylon (L). Pers.] by exogenous melatonin
Melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine), a well-known animal hormone, is also involved in plant development and abiotic stress responses. In this study, it is shown that exogenous application of melatonin conferred improved salt, drought, and cold stress resistances in bermudagrass. Moreover, exogenous melatonin treatment alleviated reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst and cell damage induced b...

esl/efl books play a crucial role in shaping language learners worldview of gender roles in society. the present study investigated the status of sexism in two sets of efl textbooks, one developed by non-native iranian authors (ili series) and the other by native authors (top notch series). first, two books from each series was selected randomly. then, a quantitative analysis was carried out wi...
Effects of Exogenous Nitric Oxide on Photosynthesis, Antioxidant Capacity and Proline Accumulation in Wheat Seedlings Subjected to Osmotic Stress
Nitric oxide (NO) is a active molecule involved in mediation of various biotic and abiotic stressinduced physiological responses in plants. In the present study, using SNP (sodium nitroprusside) as NO donor and cPTIO [2-(4-carboxypheny-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-1oxyl-3-oxide, potassium salt] as specific NO scavenger, we examined the ability of exogenous NO to alleviate oxidative damage, ...
